By now, most of you have probably read (I hope) The Amish Cookie Club which was released at the end of May. (psst! Don’t forget to leave your review…sometimes, like today, I pick random reviews to giveaway books…read below!!!)
With today being the first FULL day of summer, I wanted to give everyone a special treat (and not just cookies from Edna, Verna, Wilma, and Mary!).
For the next few weeks, Mending Fences will be available on Kindle for just .99 cents. I wrote this book and published it last summer. The readers really seemed to enjoy it:
Mending Fence is truly a sweet romance. When Jane meets Reuben, the young man helping his grandfather for the summer, at the broken fence on top of the hill, she knows there is something special about him. Reuben, too, takes an immediate shine to Jane. Unfortunately, there relationship is, in Amish style, forbidden: the two families live next door to each other and they just don’t seem to get along. They haven’t for years.
But no one seems to remember why.
Leave it to the two starry-eyed youths, Jane Miller and Reuben Troyer, to attempt to figure out a way to mend the broken fence between their two families in order to get the families’ blessings on marriage.
I agree with PeachPie that there are many twists in the story. I love writing novels that have hidden stories in them…I mean, it’s fun to read a predictable love story but it’s even better to read one that ISN’T predictable!!!!!
It just doesn’t get much more romantic and sweet than that…unless it’s a cookie from Edna’s cookie club!
P.S. Thank you, PeachPie. Please reach out to me and I’d like to thank you for your lovely review by sending you an advanced copy of the sequel to The Amish Cookie Club!
