Sarah’s “Sunday” Smiles: Holiday Giveaway

Summer is over, the children are back at school, and I’m looking ahead toward the holiday. That’s right…the holidays.

For the past few years, I realized that, after the gifts were exchanged and the decorations came down, I always felt a sense of…dissatisfaction. The entire POINT of the holidays is to focus on the HOLY nature of this day.

There is so much build up to December 25th and then…it’s over. Yet, what did we actually do to honor the birth of Jesus?

I decided that there would be no more commercialization permitted in my house. Not over the holidays. This year, it’s going to be about CHANGE…change in ourselves by helping others.

Less is more.

So, with that being said, I’m going to begin announcing my “Holiday Giveaway.”

No, I’m not off my rocker. I know that I just said that it’s not going to be about gifts and commercial gimmicks. I’m going to stick to that. However, everyone likes a little “Thank You” gift from time to time.

So, I am going to have mini-contests along the way, chances for people to EARN gifts…paperback books, a new MEV Bible (from Charisma), and the ultimate prize…A NEW Kindle Fire eBook Reader!

That’s right…I wrote the word EARN.  It’s not about “gosh, I never WIN anything”….it’s going to be about who can earn the gifts…through charitiable acts (not giving things but of YOURSELF) and change…both within yourself and around others. Additionally, I’m not going to decide who wins…YOU will…by voting for each other.

What do you have to do? I’ll have a complete schedule on my Facebook page HERE and/or my Twitter account @SarahPriceAuthr.

  1. Have all your books and love them all. I have already pre ordered the next two and can’t wait for them to come out. Thanks for so many hours of great reading.

  2. Sounds interesting and you keep us guessing. Love your books — I’m reaing your Plain series right now (Book 2). I love Amanda – she’s so innocent, but getting wiser. Keep the info comming and have a blessed day! 🙂

  3. I read and review books for authors who sends me print copies or ARC’s of their books and would love to read and review one for you. Would you keep me in mind for the future when you can. I love Amish and being raised part Amish puts me in the knowledge of how they lived and I can relate to the books in many ways.

  4. Hope I will get email updates….not real good on this computer, and cannot figure out how to enter your contests, usually….. But have bought a LOT of your books, and LOVE your gift of writing! Blessings to you, cj
